Overview
2025 Boys 14U Spring Season: **Registration CAP of 45 players
Our Boys 14U Spring Program is designed to introduce players to the sport of beach volleyball and offers the best way to continue improving skills during the Indoor Club offseason. Each practice, players will be assigned to a court based on skill-level and experience in order to challenge each athlete relative to their current ability. Training sessions for all courts will incorporate both skill-specific drills and high intensity gamelike training to develop skilled and competitive sand athletes.
No Tryout is necessary to join the Spring Sand Program and players are not required to attend practices or register for the program with a partner. Our Spring Program is open for registration to all boys players aged 12-14, regardless of if you trained with us during the Fall/Summer.
MVVC Spring Sand Season will begin practices on February 12th and end with our MVVC Sand Tournament on May 3rd.

Why Sand Volleyball
Sand Volleyball is one of the best ways for indoor volleyball players to improve their skills. Doubles provides the best in random, game-like volleyball experiences with a high number of contacts per person.
- To extend your range on defense as you are required to cover the entire court.
- To develop communication skills with a single partner before moving on to a 6-person system.
- To enhance strength and conditioning through increased movement.
- To learn equal part in the responsibility of every play with your partner
Whether it's on the beach or grass, 4-on-4 or 2-on-2, outdoor volleyball is a fun and effective way to gain valuable playing experience and to get an edge on other players. Play hard, play often and play outdoors to become a better all-around player. "A lot of indoor players are specialists, but on the beach you need to play all phases well, and you need a lot of ball control." – Karch Kiraly, three-time Olympic Gold Medalist (1984 and 1988 Indoor, 1996 Beach)
Financial Commitment
Spring Sand Program dues are $600 and include the cost of all practices (Feb-May) and our end-of-season MVVC Sand Tournament. The cost of the program anticipates that each player will miss 3 weeks worth of practices throughout the course of the season.
