Program Details

• Grades: 4th - 8th

• Season Length: 10-12 weeks, starting January 27

• Team Sizes:

  • 4th-6th grade: 12-14 players per team

  • 7th-8th grade: 16 players per team

• Practice Frequency: 1-2 times per week, depending on team placement and coach availability

 

Tryout Information

We will begin the Winter Youth League with two mandatory tryouts:

Friday, January 17

• Girls 4th/5th/6th: 4:15 - 5:45 PM

• Girls 7th: 6:00 - 7:30 PM

• Girls 8th: 7:45 - 9:15 PM

Saturday, January 25

• Girls 4th/5th/6th: 3:00 - 4:30 PM

• Girls 7th: 4:45 - 6:15 PM

• Girls 8th: 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Please attend both tryouts to give coaches the best opportunity to assess each player's skills, athleticism, and performance in drills. Our goal is to form teams that maximize each athlete's potential and foster a cohesive team environment.

 

Team Offers

• Offer Notification Date: January 26 2025

• Be prepared to accept offers quickly due to limited space in the program.

  • Girls 4/5/6 Teams: @ WCVBA Locations (TBA)

  • League 1 @ MVVC: Saturday, February 22, 2025

  • League 2 @ Livermore Location: Sunday, March 16, 2025

  • League 3 @ Livermore Location: Sunday, April 5th, 2025

• League 1 @ MVVC  Saturday, February 22, 2025

• League 2 @ MVVC Saturday, March 22, 2025

Costs

• Tryouts: $75

• Season Cost: $875 + player pack (no more than $150) 

• 4th/5th/6th will have an additional AAU membership fee. This does not apply for 7th/8th.

 

What to bring to Tryouts?

• Water, knee pads, athletic shoes, and appropriate athletic wear

• Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to tryouts for check-in.
